FRC hosts climate change workshop

27 July 2017: FRC HOSTS CLIMATE CHANGE WORKSHOP

On the 27th July 2017, the FRC held a productive multi-stakeholder workshop at the SANBI headquarters, Kirstenbosch. The focus was to communicate our research on Climate Change impacts on freshwater systems in South Africa and to strategise incorporating the research outputs into management, policy and conservation plans. The project was supported by the Table Mountain Fund and Water Research Commission, and the FRC collaborated with CapeNature and SAIAB. Thanks also to South African National Parks Department of Water and Sanitation South Africa for valuable inputs into the project. Stay tuned for links to management-orientated research outputs from this exciting body of work.
