Shelly Fuller – Researcher

Shelly is a dedicated ecologist with 17+ years of experience in the environmental sector, specializing in adaptive management to drive high-impact projects that restore ecosystems and empower communities. She is particularly passionate about facilitating the establishment of collaborative partnerships with businesses in the food value chain that support a shift of investment into ecological infrastructure, improved local governance and incentivizes restorative production practices. Most recently, Shelly has been the lead in developing and implementing catchment scale projects within the Boland and Grootwinterhoek Strategic Water Source areas of the Western Cape that support action in improved water management and biodiversity conservation with the food and beverage partners both locally and internationally. She describes herself as being a catalyst for connections – bringing people, businesses, nature and scalable projects together.
